Our customer CARBAGAS AG / Air Liquide was looking for a safe solution for the transportation of gas cylinders.

The solution should offer good handling for the heavy gas cylinders, have an extendable handle bar, be lockable with a lid and be able to climb stairs. In addition, the transport box should be stackable and stable for handling with pallets. The design was not to be neglected, as the trolleys had to look appealing and offer labeling options.

We supported Carbagas throughout the entire process. It started with initial sketches and ideas for a suitable solution. Our technical department ran through various design options and gave Carbagas the opportunity to select the most suitable variant. The design was developed specifically for these trolleys.

Once the design had been approved, our mold shop created the molds and the first samples for Carbagas were produced. Sampling has the advantage that the developed product can be checked and any changes can be incorporated before it goes into series production. Once all adjustments had been approved, the product went into series production using rotational molding. We also handled the assembly of the finished product internally and were thus able to offer Carbagas an end-to-end solution.
